HUMMER
Hummingbirds eat a lot due to their high metabolism. Some hummers can visit 20 flowering plants per minute, rarely landing between meals. They also need to digest their food quickly., and are able to digest a fly or small insect in ten minutes. At night, they go into a kind of nocturnal hibernation, lowering their body temperature and heart rate so they can rest.
