Pacific White-Sided Dolphins are extremely active and often mix with many of the other North Pacific cetacean species. It often approaches boats and bow-rides to the delight of the boat's passengers. It is not unusual for up to 90 individuals, with supergroups of more than 300. Prey includes hake, anchovies, squid, herring, salmon and cod.
