LAYING IN WAIT
Caimans inhabit Central and South America from the marshes and swamps to mangrove rivers and lakes. They are relatively small in size compared to their relatives. It is a carnivorous predator, and like the alligator and crocodile, the caiman has a diet that consists of a lot of fish, as well as some birds, and small mammals and reptiles.
