The Alaskan Brown Bear is one of the two largest terrestrial carnivorans alive today, rivaled in body size only by its close cousin, the polar bear. One factor that helps them grow so large, is the availability of prey. This mama bear is teaching her cub how to catch and eat Razor Clams in Lake Clark National Park.
